Simply Been Jewelry Giveaway

I am really excited to introduce you to Kacie Marsh and Kristen Frey of Simply Been.  Their work is unique, personal & beautiful, and their story touching, and their hearts amazingly sweet!  Make sure you continue reading about why they chose the name Simply Been.

I was so touched when I read this on their site:

“It is privilege to create something so special and unique for people we would never have had the opportunity to meet or come in contact with before.  We take this seriously and are intentional to bless each necklace before sending it out.”

I love that!

Here is a bit more about Simply Been:

We are childhood friends.  We are pastors’ wives.
We are moms.  We drink a lot of coffee.
We laugh a lot.

We are moms who started this adventure with little jewelry experience, but we love to create and to have an outlet to bless people with things that bring them joy.  When we first started making jewelry, we used the method of trial and error…which has made for many hours of laughter.  Never did we imagine our hobby would evolve into thousands of our hand stamped necklaces being worn all around the world!  Over time, we’ve been able to perfect our designs and skills, and use them as a reflection of who we are as we create a product that we are proud of and so excited for people to wear.  When you receive your necklace in the mail, we hope it puts a smile on your face!  Our goal is to create something you love and look forward to wearing…and that you’d tell all your friends about.

It’s our privilege to create something so special and unique for people we would never have had the opportunity to meet or come in contact with before.  We take this seriously and are intentional to bless each necklace before we send it out.
So take a look around…there is something for everyone.

The story behind the name  SIMPLY BEEN:

Five  years ago, I was introduced to the most special boy I know…
I was 5 months pregnant when I was first introduced to my second son.  I watched during the ultrasound, as he moved around, kicking inside my belly.  And it was just moments later that I listened to the doctor explain that he had a fatal birth defect, and he would not survive the pregnancy.  Against doctor’s recommendations, I continued on with the pregnancy, carrying him to full term…
October 19, 2007, I finally got to see my little boy face to face.  The doctor’s were right, he was born with a fatal birth defect, but he was born alive!  Against all odds, he lived for 7 ½ hours…
Those hours were the most life changing, surprising, precious hours I have ever experienced.  There is something so special about being a mom – despite all of your child’s “imperfections,” you are able to love them for who they are…perfectly, and fearfully made.  And that’s also the very thing that makes it so very hard to say goodbye.  Fortunately, there will be a day when I will wrap my arms around my little boy once again, in the presence of the same God who has been “babysitting” for me all these years.  That will be a good day…
Until then, I hold tight to the truths of my experience – pain is difficult, but there hope and there is joy beyond the mourning.
As my close childhood friend, Kristin, and I began our new jewelry business, we decided to recognize and honor my little boy, Benjamin.

His life was…
simply beautiful.
simply perfect
.

He is…

Are you still in business? A few years ago, I got necklaces for my daughters with their children’s names on them. I also got one for myself with the names of all my immediate family on it beginning with my husband and myself., our children and their spouses, and all the grandchildren. I love it and constantly get compliments. How can I order more?
