My Must-Do Pins From Pinterest

A solution to washing boatloads of towels each week.  I plan on getting each family member 2 towels each, then washing towels just once a week!  I also love the hooks.  No more towel bars.

I’d love this sign in my bathroom.  How is it my kids are all above age 9 and I still need the “Flush” reminder?  Ugh.

Goodbye carpet!  A little paint and gel stain. I’m a bit concerned with how noisy it may be hearing my girls stomp up and down the stairs without the barrier of carpet, but this is very pretty!

This is just contact paper! Would love to do this to my upstairs windows for extra privacy.  It still lets in the light, which is great!

Chalk board paint on a bathroom door. This would be so fun to leave messages for my girls, or a new Scripture verse each week.

Christmas lights poked through a canvas.  A great way to add atmosphere to any room.  This would be quite romantic in a bedroom at night!

Burlap and A Sharpie!  Easy.  Love how casual this is.  I think it would look great on my black table.  I personally would exchange those glasses for mason jars!  ðŸ™‚

Elmers glue on canvas, then paint the whole thing!  Easy Peesy.

Toilet paper roll seedling holders. I knew there was a reason I was saving these!

Last but not least, Red Wine Chocolate Cake.  Yes, a must-do!

Just an FYI the canvas does NOT use elmer’s glue it uses Puffy Paint – when you track back to the original site she talks about it and has no idea how it got spread that it is elmer’s glue. I did finally get some puffy paint to do it but haven’t yet … on my list to do as well!

Thanks for featuring my window! I would love to take the carpet off of our stairs. My in-laws just did it to their steps and it looks great! Love the burlap placemats, too!

Just a little tip: we have hooks for our towels and I find that they don’t dry quickly/thoroughly, and they get that wet/musty smell pretty quickly. It’s not so nice. I’m not sure if you’re picturing something like the photo you posted, but that many wet towels, bunched so close together? It’s probably not something I’d be confident would work. My towel hook is on its own, but it’s in the bathroom, so I suppose it’s not the driest room in the house. It’s a bit of an issue for me (and I live in warm Australia, where things are meant to dry out super fast, and we keep all our windows open with tons of fresh air). Sad.

I am so very addicted to pinterest. I love the idea of the stairs but I am sure it would increase the noise level. And the elmers glue on canvas..brilliant! Thank you for sharing, I am hoping over to check out the rest of your boards.

Our stairs aren’t carpeted and it looks great! I am worried about how often my husband falls up and down them though…
And I really want to try the contact paper on my windows!

    Good Morning,
We recently took off our stair runner and had the remind the kids to be careful wearing socks but there has not been a noticeable noise increase. I love the way my stairs look without the carpet. it seems easier to clean since I just have to wipe with the swifter and done.
    I say go for it!
